Yves, owner and captain (skipper), served in the French Navy for 30 years as navigation officer then as commanding officer.
From 2002 to 2004, he sailed with Touaou around the South Pacific, from Noumea to New Zealand then following the roaring forties toward French Polynesia, Tahiti, Moorea, Tuamotu, Marquisian Islands, Leeward islands, and on the way back Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu and Chesterfields.
